Reiki
What it is
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy-based treatment that restores the body’s natural state of harmony. The word comes from Japanese: Rei meaning “universal” or “spirit,” and Ki meaning “life energy.” Together, Reiki translates to “universal life energy” — the vital force that flows through all living beings. Reiki works by gently channeling universal energy through light touch or hands held just above the body, activating the body’s natural healing response. Unlike massage, there is no manipulation of muscles or use of pressure — the focus is on the body’s energy field.
What It Does (Science + Evidence)
Reiki activates the parasympathetic nervous system, helping the body shift into deep rest where repair happens. Studies suggest Reiki can reduce pain, anxiety, and fatigue, while enhancing overall quality of life. It is increasingly being used in hospitals for cancer care, stroke recovery, and palliative support because it is non-invasive, safe, and complementary to any medical treatment.
Alongside its calming and restorative effects, Reiki also draws on advanced intuitive awareness. This allows each session to go beyond simple relaxation, offering insights and energetic shifts that can support emotional clarity, self-discovery, and a deeper reconnection to the self.

How It’s Offered Here
-
Reiki Flow Massage: A deeply restorative treatment that blends the flow of full-body relaxation massage with the healing energy of Reiki. Your session begins with Reiki, opening the energetic channels and focusing on the chakras to prepare your system for deep relaxation. Reiki continues to flow throughout as slow, rhythmic massage strokes guide your body into a parasympathetic “rest and digest” state. The treatment closes with Reiki through the head, neck, and shoulders for full integration and grounding.
-
In-person / Distance Reiki: Offered both in person and remotely, Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive practice that supports deep relaxation, stress relief, and energetic balance. Reiki helps guide the body into a parasympathetic “rest and digest” state, where natural healing can take place.
Sessions are deeply calming, restorative, and supportive for both mind and body.
